Dal 24 al 26 Febbraio 2023 si è svolta a Caresanablot, alle porte di Vercelli, la 44^ edizione della Fiera in Campo, la più importante manifestazione agricola nazionale specializzata sul riso. La folta presenza di ospiti fa capire l'importanza della Fiera e l'interesse per il settore.
[EN] From February 24 to 26, the 44th edition of Fiera in Campo, the most important national agricultural event specializing in rice, took place in Caresanablot, near Vercelli. The large number of guests shows the importance of the Fair and the interest in the sector.
Numerose sono state le visite allo stand IRES, compresa quella del presidente Ente Risi, Paolo Carrà e quella di numerose aziende italiane, portoghesi, spagnole, greche, bulgare, turche e ucraine. Presenti anche molti sementieri italiani e stranieri.
[EN] There were numerous visits to the IRES stand, including that of the president of Ente Risi, Paolo Carrà and that of numerous Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Greek, Bulgarian, Turkish and Ukrainian companies. There were also many Italian and foreign seed companies.
Domenico Costanzo, risicoltore di Villanova M.to ha voluto omaggiarmi del suo "xiloaerofono". Da grande appassionato di riso, storia e di attrezzi agricoli, vanta una collezione da grande museo. Lo xiloaerofono provoca un suono roteando che serviva una volta per scacciare gli animali selvatici che si avvicinavano alla cascina. Anche questo è Fiera in Campo ;)
[EN] Domenico Costanzo, a rice grower of Villanova M.to (AL), wanted to give me his "xyloaerophone" as a present. As a great lover of rice, history and agricultural tools, he boasts a collection worthy of a large museum. The xyloaerophone makes a whirling sound that was once used to drive away wild animals that approached the farmhouse. Also these things happen during the Fiera in Campo ;)
